Al-Nassr issues statement in response to allegations against Ronaldo

Al-Nassr FC has spoken out about the situation with accusations against Portuguese striker Cristiano Ronaldo for making an obscene gesture. After he grabbed his groin as he went into the dressing room after a match against Al-Hilal, fans of that team took it as an insult. Lawyer Nouf bin Ahmed announced her intention to ask the Saudi Arabian prosecutor’s office to arrest and deport Ronaldo.

Ronaldo suffers from an injury. His challenge with Gustavo Cuellar, the Al-Hilal player, started with a blow in a very sensitive area. This is confirmed information. As for the fans’ explanations, they are free to think whatever they want.

During his side’s 2-0 loss to Al-Hilal, he was booked for a WWE-style tackle and reacted to chants from home supporters of Lionel Messi by grabbing his crotch in their direction. A trend has emerged online seeking to oust Ronaldo under the title “Expelling the fan’s abuser”.

Ronaldo has played for the Saudi club since January 2023. He has scored 11 goals and recorded two assists in 13 official matches.

Ronaldo’s injury is a result of contact with Gustavo Cuellar, an Al-Hilal player. Fans may think whatever they want about the incident, but it is confirmed that Ronaldo was hurt in a sensitive area.
