Lionel Messi, the striker for Inter Miami and Argentina’s national football team, has purchased a mansion in Fort Lauderdale (Florida, USA).

After the end of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain, the legendary Argentine joined the MLS club this summer.

Forbes magazine reports that the price of this eight-bedroom mansion is $10.75 million. The 975-square-meter house has an Olympic-sized swimming pool, three-car garage and a spa and fitness center. The interior also boasts lavish décor.

The head coach of Inter Miami (Gerardo Martino), has spoken about his team’s forward Lionel Messi. The Argentine helped his new club win the Leagues Cup by scoring two goals in the final.

Martino told TyC Sports:

After two years with Paris Saint-Germain, Lionel Messi joined the American club Inter Miami as a free agent this summer. In 11 matches, he scored 11 goals and gave five assists. Transfermarkt estimates his value at €35 million.

Earlier, Inter Miami defender Serhiy Kryvtsov spoke about his experience playing alongside Argentine striker Lionel Messi. He claims that Messi is a humble guy who became great because of his upbringing.
