Lionel Messi will miss several matches of Inter Miami in the MLS championship due to a call-up to the national team. This was announced by Inter Miami head coach Gerardo Martino.

Leo will likely miss at least three games. He’s going to be called up by his national team, and he might be called up for others as well.

Argentina will play Ecuador and Bolivia in September. The games are part of the team’s preparations for World Cup qualification in 2026.
