As of December 28, Newcastle United stand in second place in the English Premier League, four points ahead of fifth-place Manchester United.

After a promising start to the season, Eddie Howe’s team have now won 10 consecutive matches and are looking solid at the top of the table. In fact, the Cherries have amassed 25 points out of a potential 27 points coming into the last game of 2022.

Despite having played one game more than most of their closest competitors, Newcastle have the sixth-best record in the Premier League, based on points per game.

According to Goldenbet, Newcastle will finish in the top-2 with odds of 28/5. This is significantly lower than at the start of the season, when securing a Champions League spot was provided at 6/1.

Bookmakers including Goldenbet value Manchester City as strong favourites for the Premier League title, but Arsenal are also in contention. However, Newcastle United’s odds of 126/5 don’t seem justified given that they are 7 points behind league leaders Manchester City.

As our Goldenbet review shows, the brand offers some of the best prices for betting on EPL.

Since its launch in 2017, Goldenbet has quickly gained my attention with its offering on top leagues. The Upgaming-powered platform provides some exciting features that you do not come across very often. I was also happy with the level of localization: You can choose among multiple languages and currencies. There are a few areas where I would like to see some improvements soon: live betting odds are below par at best, especially in minor sports and leagues; deposit and withdrawal limits are a little restrictive; finally, I would like the bookmaker to go after a Tier 1 operating license. Overall, Goldenbet is a great and loose bookmaker with lots of potential.
